Ireland 2018 | Dark Hedges
Dark Hedges was one of the places I wanted to visit. The forest was super dark and eery (and cold). The cool thing about this place is that the trees are all over 150 years old. The trees are all dying and that explains why they are all "collapsing" on top of one another, causing a tunnel-like road. I don't watch Game of Thrones but they supposedly filmed a scene at this location for the show.
The walk to the hedges wasn't that long. The road to the Dark Hedges was super green and light, whereas the hedges was contrastingly dark and gloomy.
On the way to the Dark Hedges, we spotted a little Leprachaun village!
After we crossed the bright area, we finally spotted the long awaited Dark Hedges.
